If you sell nothing off the shelf but calculate every job, half a day disappears into building quotes in Excel. On top of that, the "where is my job?" call comes in ten times a day. We build a portal where your customer uploads their drawing, sees a price immediately, and then follows which stage their work is in.
A calculator spending half a day a day on quotes costs you twenty to thirty thousand euro a year in time that earns nothing. If a customer asks for three variants, that work starts over — and by the time the price is ready, they have ordered elsewhere.
The second part is less visible but just as expensive: every time someone calls to ask how far along a job is, someone walks to the shop floor to find out. As soon as your customer can see it themselves, that conversation disappears entirely.
An off-the-shelf package cannot do this, because every company calculates differently: its own materials, machine rates, setup costs and finishes. So we build the calculation rules around how you calculate, and afterwards you adjust them yourself without calling us.
